Your Tasks
⚙️ Design and develop a hardware controller prototype for an advanced gastrointestinal endoscopy VR simulator.
🎯 Integrate sensors and electronics to capture and replicate endoscope movements with high precision.
🔗 Collaborate with software engineers to ensure seamless data transmission for realistic motion simulation.
🛠️ Select and implement suitable actuators, encoders, and force-feedback mechanisms.
📊 Conduct hardware testing, validation, and iterative improvements to enhance realism.
📝 Document development processes and contribute to research publications.
Your Profile
✔️ MSc or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
✔️ Experience with embedded systems, sensor integration, and real-time data acquisition.
✔️ Knowledge of motion tracking technologies, haptic feedback systems, or robotics.
✔️ Proficiency in PCB design, microcontroller programming, and signal processing.
✔️ Research experience with published work in peer-reviewed journals focused on medical applications.
✔️ Strong motivation, initiative, and teamwork orientation.
✔️ Proficiency in English (C1 level).
✔️ Residency in Germany to enable a quick start.
💡 Bonus skills: German language proficiency (not mandatory).
