• Planning and conduction of empirical research on the neural basis of decision making (designing the experiment, data acquisition, analysis, and manuscript writing)

• PhD in psychology, neuroscience, or a related field
• Great interest in decision neuroscience research
• ability to independently work in an interdisciplinary team environment
• Experience in statistical analysis, basic programming skills in Matlab or Python
• An excellent command of English, and a moderate command of German, or the willingness to learn German
• previous experience in neuroscientific methods (EEG, fMRI, TMS, tDCS, psychopharmacology) or computational modelling

The position is available from January 2027 or later. The position is initially available for a duration of 3 years (salary according to German TV-L E13, 100%).
