Application deadline: 13/12/2024

Join University Hospital Würzburg as a Postdoctoral Researcher (m/f/d) in our cutting-edge research on genomic, transcriptomic, and epigenomic alterations in childhood cancers. We are seeking a passionate and driven Postdoctoral Scientist to support our projects, focusing on immunoregulatory mechanisms in childhood cancer dysregulation.

Successful applicant will study interactions between immune and leukemic cells, and explore the developmental origins, heterogeneity, and the plasticity of leukemic cells, using multi-omic single-cell sequencing techniques, specifically scRNA-Seq and scATAC-Seq. The aim of the project is to improve our understanding of relapse-driving mechanisms in leukemia, and aid in identification of potential biomarkers, or therapeutic targets, in order to improve patient risk-stratification and identify new treatment strategies.
