We are seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Researcher (m/f/d) to join a prestigious EU-funded research project investigating cardiovascular inflammation through innovative immune-cell engineering approaches.

Your Tasks
Scientific Research
- Design, coordinate, and conduct experimental studies investigating acute and chronic cardiovascular inflammation.
- Develop and apply CAR T-cell engineering approaches for therapeutic intervention.
- Perform in-depth functional analyses using in vitro, ex vivo, and in vivo models.
- Utilize advanced technologies including flow cytometry, immune-cell phenotyping, transcriptomics, and single-cell RNA sequencing (scRNA-seq).
- Analyze molecular signaling pathways driving cardiovascular inflammation and immune-cell function.
- Contribute to data interpretation, scientific publications, conference presentations, and grant applications.
Project Management and Coordination
- Take over day-to-day scientific and administrative management of the EU-funded project.
- Coordinate project activities, milestones, deliverables, and reporting obligations.
- Serve as a key liaison between project partners, collaborators, and funding agencies.
- Organize consortium meetings, monitor project progress, and ensure timely completion of objectives.
- Support strategic planning, dissemination activities, and stakeholder engagement.
- Mentor and coordinate students and junior researchers involved in the project.
Your Profile
- PhD in Life Sciences, Immunology, Cardiovascular Biology, Biomedical Sciences, or a related discipline.
- Strong experimental background in inflammation research and cardiovascular disease models.
- Experience with cellular and molecular biology techniques; expertise in immunology, immune-cell engineering, flow cytometry, transcriptomics, or animal models is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to independently plan and execute research projects.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, ideally with experience coordinating collaborative research activities.
- High intrinsic motivation and enthusiasm for investigating molecular mechanisms of cardiovascular diseases.
- Ability to work effectively in interdisciplinary and international teams.
- Excellent spoken and written English skills.
